Some of y’all are already aware of the housing woes I’ve faced in the last two years. I am not afraid to own up to being housing insecure. But I DO want to make a point and say that housing insecurity is very complex and has many causes.
And one of those causes often include remorseless, soulless, and NEGLIGENT landlords taking advantage of people who they think don’t have any recourse.
My landlord thought we were easy targets after my house fire. He’s about to find out (if he already hasn’t) that we’re not and never were.

As I’ve mentioned before my gf is type 1 Diabetic, but & her medical insurance coverage went down without advance notice from the provider. sooo basically she needs help to cover the cost of her Dexcom / pump supplies. this amount NEEDS to be paid in full before she can receive anything from her medical provider, and she is running out, with about 2 weeks of supplies left. any amount of help you are able to give tackling these costs would mean the world.
